Overview
APSOS™ Runtime & Trust is a separate research program from the original APSOS™ filing. It studies how organizations can notice unexpected behavior in autonomous AI agents and support a person who needs to intervene.
Nothing on this page is a demonstrated system, a released monitor, or a patent claim.
Problem
Organizations adopting autonomous AI agents need ways to detect unexpected behavior, judge operational risk, and support timely human intervention.
Research objectives
- Study behavioral monitoring of AI agents.
- Examine runtime anomaly detection and unexpected actions.
- Explore trust and risk signals that a person can use.
- Evaluate monitoring approaches, including false positives, without treating early ideas as findings.
Methodology
The program is set up for experimental evaluation with research partners. Methods will be defined in a concept paper and in the collaboration agreement, not on this page.
Potential applications
AI platform providers, enterprises operating agents, and cybersecurity vendors. The intended path is licensing of monitoring and trust-assurance techniques.
Collaboration
Faculty, graduate researchers, and laboratories can work with KN Cyber on narrowly scoped studies, independent evaluation, or joint proposals. Ownership, publication, and licensing are settled in an agreement before substantive work begins.
