Overview
APSOS™ is a research and technology development initiative. It is not a software product offered for subscription.
The work asks how a product security program can be assessed continuously, from evidence, as the application, the engineering process, and the operating environment change. Recommendations stay subject to human judgment.
Problem
Software organizations struggle to keep a product security program effective as applications, engineering processes, and operational environments change.
Research objectives
- Investigate quantitative approaches to product security assurance.
- Develop methods for evaluating security evidence.
- Measure whether security improvement recommendations change decisions.
- Test human-AI decision-making models against existing assurance methods.
Methodology
High-level studies of evidence, maturity assessment, and decision support. This page does not describe algorithms, workflows, or unpublished claims.
Potential applications
Cybersecurity vendors, software companies, and enterprise security teams that need a continuous view of product security. The intended commercial path is licensing, not a KN Cyber hosted product.
Collaboration
Faculty, graduate researchers, and laboratories can work with KN Cyber on narrowly scoped studies, independent evaluation, or joint proposals. Ownership, publication, and licensing are settled in an agreement before substantive work begins.
